next NCCAA

"Conferences are an opportunity
to carry the message of AA to large groups. As special events, the conferences
require months of planning, preparation and money. These events are
held in hotels or convention centers, the charges for the use of these
facilities has tripled in the last two years. NCCAA is in need of your
support.
This conference is self-supporting.
No group money is used to pay for the event. The cost of the event is
paid through registration fees and 7th Tradition. NCCAA is happy to
break-even; the registration fee is nominal compared to a weekend's
worth of entertainment anywhere else. Attendance is voluntary. Please
be responsible AA members, we "are self supporting through our
own contributions" and we do "pay our own way".

The
NCCAA Conference Committee is now offering the Good
News Newsletter at a yearly subscription rate of $4.00. This
is due to the increasing cost of printing and postage!
The
Pre-registration cost, before the event, for NCCAA Conferences is still
$8.00 and the fee at the door has been $10.00 starting with the Fall
2003 Conference in Redding. The increasing cost of putting on the Conferences
has made this minimal increase necessary. Please help us keep the cost
of these conferences down by registering and donating to the 7th Tradition
basket at the meetings.

YOU KNOW??
Every AA Group is entitled to have TwoDelegates to NCCAA. The function
of the Group Delegate is to attend the Open Delegates’ Meeting
on Saturday afternoon at the conference where the Council will present
all items of importance that need to be voted upon such as future conference
sites and the election of the Council Chairperson and the Council Treasurer.
